Mission Statement

We strive to help Tibetan students succeed in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and foster scientific temper* in our society.

Organize workshops and conferences to serve as platforms for Tibetan students to share their scientific work.
Facilitate networking among Tibetans in STEM as well as expose them to areas of convergence between Science and Buddhism through interactions with Buddhist scholars and students.
Help provide exposure to the mainstream scientific world through research institute visitations and facilitate interactions with working scientists.
Foster constructivist-based learning among Tibetan school students.
Facilitate mentorship and guidance for enthusiastic students in their career path determination by introducing them to diverse scientific career opportunities.

Enhance public understanding of science through articles, seminars, and podcasts
Encourage scientific, evidence-based methodologies to explore and reap the benefits of Buddhist science and traditional knowledge such as Tibetan medicine
Bridging the gap between traditional Tibetan and modern scientific cultures.
