The immense benefit science and technology can bring to the society have been largely ignored in pre-modern Tibet. Although practical introduction of developments in science and technology did not come until Tibet was occupied by China in the middle of the 20th century, much of the Tibetan population still remains untrained in scientific and technical fields.
Tibetan Scientific Society is pleased to introduce Tibetan Science Conclave - IV to be held in Bangalore this December. We are retaining the general conclave format of TSC-III for this upcoming conclave based on the positive experiences reported by our past participants.
In view of the interest of increasing number of Tibetan students in pursuing scientific research studies, we are pleased to introduce the third Tibetan Science Conclave (TSC-III) with the theme “understanding scientific research”.
